Cost and Performance
The Touring is the middle of the three trim levels for the 2025 Prologue. It offers a balance of advanced features not available or standard on the base EX trim and affordability since it has a lower starting MSRP compared to the Elite trim. We’ll start with a quick overview of the performance specs – you can explore our 2025 Prologue model overview for more in-depth performance and charging details. With the Touring trim you’ll have a standard single-motor FWD and the option to equip the dual-motor AWD for an added cost. When equipped with FWD you’ll enjoy a 308 mile range rating1 to take you around El Cajon and 220 horsepower. The additional motor in the AWD version adds more muscle at 300 horsepower with a slightly lower 294 mile range rating.
Interior
Inside the cabin is where you’ll see the main differences between the Touring trim level. Upgrades from the base trim include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-trimmed upholstery, an automatic dimming rearview mirror, and two-position memory for the driver’s seat. If you frequently have a front passenger, they’ll certainly appreciate that this trim includes a 6-way power-adjustable seat instead of a manual adjustment one. Or, perhaps you are someone who enjoys a premium music experience when you are behind the wheel. If so, the Touring trim has a major benefit with the Bose 12-speaker premium audio system included – a significant change from the standard 6-speaker system. The 2025 Prologue does provide a generous 11.3-inch touchscreen on all trims, along with an 11-inch digital instrument cluster.
Exterior
Although all trims of the Prologue are ready to attract attention in Southern California, the Touring trim has added details that will enhance convenience as well as style. “ I brought my car to Honda because the air conditioning was no longer blowing cold. Steven explained that the issue could be either the condenser or the heat exchanger and mentioned that diagnosing the heat exchanger would typically cost around $100. Since I was hesitant to pay for both diagnostics, I initially asked to have only the condenser checked. To my surprise, Steven went above and beyond and had the technician inspect both components at no additional charge, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, both the condenser and the heat exchanger needed to be replaced, with an initial estimate close to $3,000. Once again, Steven stepped in and worked with his manager and the technicians to reduce the total cost to roughly $2,200. Steven understood that this was a significant expense and did everything he could to make it more manageable for me. Throughout the entire process, he was patient, thorough, and happy to answer all of my questions. He never made me feel rushed, pressured, or like I was wasting his time, nor did he push unnecessary repairs.
